As a Native Hawaiian who is both a member of the blue-collar workforce and a small-business owner, I know, first hand the issues that are impacting the sustainability of our people and our place. I want to serve as a voice for the community that raised me and for the local families who don't feel their needs are being represented at the State Capitol. By focussing on addressing the cost of housing, community safety, and natural resource management, we can ensure that Hawaiʻi is a place where we can safely thrive.
