Aloha mai kākou

Hopena was born and raised in Kailua in a multi-generational household with his grandma (Oma), mom, aunties, uncles, and cousins all under one roof. He graduated from Kamehameha Kapālama High School and went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree in International Business and Marketing at the Shidler School of Business at UH Mānoa. Hopena currently works as a full time longshoreman for Hawaiʻi Stevedores Inc, as well as a full time small-business owner of Oysters Hawaiʻi. He understands the importance of hard work and dedication.
